 Red wines
1982 Beautiful colour, with brownish hints. Delicate cedar notes. Smooth and elegant tannins.
Ready to drink (1 hour) 7 700 cases.
1983 Deep amber ruby. Notes of spices, cedar, fruit, tobacco. Tannic, much more character than the previous one. Harmonious finale.
Ready to drink (1 hour) 8 500 cases.
1985 Heavy hail that year. Shiny red, orangey hints . Complex tannins combining charm and elegance.

1986 Deep colour. Complex and fruity nose. Very luscious and structured on the palate, with the fruit covering the tannin.
Best around 2003 (2 hours) 8 500 cases.
1988 Very much like the 1985. Beautiful colour. Complex nose of cherry and cooked redcurrants. Ripe and round wine.

1989 Rivals with the preceding. Redcurrant and cherry nose. Structured and well balanced. Elegance of a great vintage confirmed by time.

1990 Synthesis of the 88's and 89's. Deep red colour with orangey hints. Fruity and elegant bouquet.Very fleshy on the palate. Beautiful ripe tannins finale.

1991 80% of the vineyard was hit by the frost. After selection, 40% merlot. Fine, elegant nose marked by the cabernet sauvignon.

1992 Beautiful colour with slight orangey hints. Delicate vanilla and fruit aromas (45% merlot). Harmonious, well balanced and delicate.

2000 Intense and rich colour. Very ripe red fruit nose. Powerful on the palate, with a complex structure, with dominant blackberry and spicy notes. Worth waiting for!    more

2001 Bright red colour showing its youth. The smoky and black fruit nose announces a strong and well structured wine. A nice classic wine, very harmonious.    more

2002 The ripe side of this vintage shows through its deep colour and warm bouquet. On the palate the wine is silky, rich and elegant. Its gorgeous finale, long and with notes of liquorice, promises long years of ageing.    more

2004 The year of the perfect balance. A generous wine, harmonious, strong and supple, thanks to the nice maturity of the two main varieties. A great classic Pessac-Leognan.    more

2005 The warm and dry summer gave us a nearly perfect vintage. Finesse in the bouquet, soft tannins, and nice finish.    more

2006 Strong and round tannins, due to nice Cabernet Sauvignon, give a good potential to this vintage.    more

 White wines
1987 The first vintage to be aged on its lees in oak barrels (50% new barrels). Nicely developed nose, with a beautiful balance.
To be drunk. 2 000 cases.
1988 More vigorous than the 1987, round and luscious. Nice evolution of the sauvignons.
To be drunk. 2 500 cases.
1989 Nice balance with subtle complexity today. A real success, which will open after decanting. Reveals itself now after some years of reserve.
To be drunk. 2 500 cases.
1990 Softer than the 1989, with elegant semillon notes on the nose , confirmed on the palate. Wonderful with goat cheese!
To be drunk. 3 500 cases.
1992 White flower nose. Much balance on the palate, with a long and luscious ending. Very pleasant.
To be drunk. 4 000 cases.
1993 Much developed on the nose today ; marked by the sauvignon. Rich and complex.
To be drunk. 4 000 cases.
1994 Subtle and beautifully developed on the nose. Soft on attack, melting on the palate. Long, suave and fruity ending.

1995 Predominant sauvignon notes, along with finely toasted semillon. Concentrated and fleshy structure.    more

1996 Intense lemony aromas, slightly toasted. Silky on the palate, concentrated and sweet texture. Lively and long ending.    more

2001 Pale colour with greenish hints. Intense nose of grapefruit and white fruit. Lively and fresh on the attack, confirmed by a very promising ending.    more

2002 The sauvignon is predominant in the balance of the assemblage, giving a mineral style of a great subtlety. A wine with a great future.    more
